All Things X-Ray
Our company provides x-ray systems and components sourced directly from a number of manufacturers. We advise customers on the best x-ray solution for their needs and for the long term. Atom Physics provides quotes for turn-key solutions so you can be up and running as soon as possible.
About Us
Atom Physics
Atom Physics was founded by Adam Evearitt, MS, DABR. He pursued a career in medical radiation to merge his passion for physics and math with his desire to contribute to society and make a positive impact. At the age of 32, despite already having a degree in physics and math, he pursued a new path and earned a master’s degree in medical physics. He completed his board certification in 2008.
Adam has specific and applicable education and credentials in x-ray imaging. His educational background includes an associate degree in radiography, a bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics, and a master’s degree in radiological physics. He is also certified by the American Board of Radiology as a medical physicist.
Co-owner, Pam Arroway has been with Atom Physics since 2017, first working as an x-ray repair tech and now managing the x-ray division of the business.
We have solutions for hospitals and medical clinics, chiropractic offices, veterinary practices, dental offices, security operations and more.
Acquiring X-ray equipment is a significant financial decision, and we are here to assist you in making the best choice. We can provide a detailed comparison of our quote with any others you may have. Some national companies may exclude important services such as installation or shipping from their quotes, which can create challenges when attempting to compare estimates from various companies. Atom Physics provides comprehensive quotes, ensuring no unexpected expenses arise in the future.
Our used x-ray rooms offer a great way to save money while still getting the highest quality available. All our products are tested for performance and reliability before they are put on the market, which ensures that you will get years of use out of them without any issues. Plus, we include installation and training – no hassle required! If you need more information about our current inventory please contact us directly – we would be more than happy to assist!
Stationary x-ray tables are important pieces of equipment in the world of x-ray imaging. They enable radiographers to take precise and accurate x-ray images with high resolution. Stationary x-ray tables provide a stable platform for imaging, allowing technicians to get the best possible image quality from their instruments. Due to the fact that stationary x-ray tables tend to be larger, and require a dedicated x-ray room, they tend to be more common in hospitals, urgent care, or imaging centers.
Mobile x-ray tables are a useful tool for smaller facilities. This type of table is equipped with wheeled legs which allow them to be easily transported to different locations, making them ideal for use in almost any facility, particularly if the x-ray room is smaller. The safety locks on the wheels ensure the table does not move during patient transfer.
Our veterinary radiographic tables can come with a variety of options. Some of these include anatomical programing option, a variable height elevator table, two-way or four-way float tabletops, table top fluid troughs and storage bins.
Atom Physics provides top quality x-ray tables for your practice whether you are a high-volume x-ray imaging center or hospital, or a mid-volume x-ray urgent care, or a low volume x-ray surgical office or physicians clinic. We strive to provide quality customer service from start to finish, so you can rest assured that your x-ray table purchase will be stress-free. Contact us if you have any questions or would like more information about our products and services.
Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) are HIPAA-compliant digital technologies used to store, manage, and share medical images. Medical imaging technology has changed for the better over the last few decades. Now that digital imaging x-ray systems exist, modern PACS can be used for storing DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) formatted files. PACS are having a far-reaching impact on storage of medical imaging data. Instead of the time consuming, manual process of filing and retrieving x-ray film jackets, PACS allows physicians to safely and quickly locate and assess information by using the PACS software. In addition, doctors can have remote access to the data if they are in another office or another practice area.
To find out if PACS are right for your practice, contact Atom Physics today.
Dosimetry badges play a vital role in radiation safety programs. These badges track and document a worker’s occupational radiation exposure. This allows both the worker and the facility they work for to ensure that they are in compliance with annual dose limits and ALARA levels. It is essential that workers wear their badges each day while they are working in a potentially high-radiation environment. At the end of the workday, it is recommended to place the badges in a protected area to prevent any additional radiation exposure.
Instadose+ dosimeters with smart monitoring technology provide on-demand dose readings and measurement data using Bluetooth technology. This means the dose information can be quickly and easily transmitted directly to smart devices, PCs, or hotspot stations. As a result, Instadose+ dosimeters are revolutionizing the way radiation levels are monitored for employees who work in occupations with radiation exposure. The Direct Ion Storage (DIS) technology incorporated into Instadose+ dosimeters provides highly accurate measurements, which gives workers added comfort that, when it comes to monitoring daily radiation doses, they can be sure their dose stays within occupational safety standards.
